An enhanced programme for pupils who show real academic strength and talents. A bespoke Gifted and Talented Programme will be launched with the September 2012 intake – designed with the input of leading experts from the Villiers Park Educational Trust, a national charity working to improve school provision for very able children. Their aim is our aim….for more students from ‘ordinary' backgrounds to acquire the grades and skills necessary to access the very top universities. Our teaching staff will receive further specialist training in how to extend pupils and develop their abilities as independent critical thinkers, something that will benefit all pupils.
